Seven avid runners represented BHW at this year’s Mattioli Woods Rothley 10k on Tuesday 14th September, with proceeds going to LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland hospice.
Bev Merrell, Paul Davis, Stephen McElhone, Daniel Rennocks, Becky Richardson, Will Sperry, and Vicky Coats all successfully completed two circuits of the hilly Leicestershire village, cheered on by the enthusiastic crowds.
543 participants took part in the race, with Paul Davis leading the BHW team home in just under 42 minutes, placing 31st overall.
LOROS are a local charity, dedicated to providing, high-quality, compassionate care and support for local patients, their families and carers. Fundraising is key to the charity, 100% of the profits raised on the night are donated to LOROS hospice.
