BHW is delighted to announce a wave of promotions across its legal teams, showcasing the outstanding talent and commitment within the firm.

New Partners: Farhaan Pathan, Cameron Connolly, and Molly Mcloughlin

BHW is proud to announce that Farhaan Pathan, Cameron Connolly, and Molly Mcloughlin have been promoted to the role of Partner. Each began their legal journey at BHW, completing their training contracts and qualifying as Solicitors with the firm. All three are established names in the leading legal industry guide, the Legal 500.

Farhaan Pathan joined in 2016 and qualified into the Dispute Resolution department. Farhaan’s expertise in property disputes, debt recovery, and contractual and commercial disputes has been instrumental to the department’s growth. Farhaan has also been recognised as a ‘Leading Associate’ in the Legal 500 guide for the second year in a row.

Cameron Connolly joined in 2018 and qualified in 2021, making a significant impact in the Corporate and Commercial department. Cameron’s expertise has helped establish BHW as a leader in Employee Ownership Trusts, earning him recognition as a ‘Leading Associate’ in the Legal 500 guide for two consecutive years.

Molly Mcloughlin started in 2019, qualified into the Commercial Property department in 2021, and has played a pivotal role in the real estate finance team. Molly has been awarded ‘Recommended’ status in the Legal 500 guide for three years running.

Reflecting on these promotions, Managing Partner Ed Nurse commented: “Farhaan, Molly, and Cameron are all exceptional lawyers, and their achievements reflect their dedication and promise. We are proud of their growth and ongoing role in BHW’s success, and their promotions are richly deserved.”

Senior Associate Promotions: Will Sperry and Chelsey Wileman

Will Sperry joined BHW in 2021 as a Paralegal, later qualifying as a Solicitor in 2023 within the Corporate and Commercial department. Will has become a key member of the team and is regularly involved in substantial client transactions, making considerable contributions to the overall success of the department.

Chelsey Wileman joined the Dispute Resolution department in 2022 as a newly qualified Solicitor. Chelsey plays an integral role in the team and has developed expertise in commercial litigation, debt recovery, and complex property and contractual disputes, building strong relationships with a growing client base.

Managing Partner, Ed Nurse, expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to see Will and Chelsey become Senior Associates. Their contributions to our clients and the firm have been exemplary, and their promotions reflect their invaluable roles in their respective teams.”

Associate Promotions: Laura Young and Symrit Sidhu

Laura Young has been with BHW since 2015, progressing through the Residential Property department. She leads one of BHW’s conveyancing teams, delivering exceptional service to clients, and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2024.

Symrit Sidhu qualified as a Solicitor in 2023 and has become a key member of the Commercial Property department. Symrit has already achieved ‘Recommended’ status in the Legal 500 guide for 2026, highlighting her significant involvement in marquee transactions in the department.

These promotions underscore BHW’s commitment to nurturing talent and recognising dedication, reinforcing the firm’s position as a leader in the East Midlands legal sector.
