BHW Solicitors has advised the shareholders of BPX Group, a Leicester‑headquartered automation and control specialist, on the successful sale of the business to RS Group Plc, a global provider of industrial product and service solutions.
Alex Clifton, corporate partner at BHW, led the legal team supporting BPX shareholders Guy Collins, Roger Collins and Nick Collins, who have been longstanding clients of the firm. The transaction represents a significant milestone for BPX, which has built a strong national presence in the automation and control sector through long‑standing supplier relationships, technical expertise and a loyal customer base.
The acquisition positions BPX for its next phase of growth as part of RS Group, strengthening RS’s automation and control offering in the UK and Ireland and providing BPX with access to wider capability, scale and international reach.
