Zara Abbas is an Associate Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution department. She advises a diverse range of clients on complex and often sensitive matters involving wills, estates, inheritance claims, trusts, land and property disputes, as well as commercial disagreements.

Zara has considerable experience leading property and commercial matters from inception through to resolution. Alongside this, she has developed a strong track record in helping executors and beneficiaries navigate challenges to wills, including disputes over validity, claims based on promises or expectations (proprietary estoppel), and applications for financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

She also advises clients facing disagreements about jointly owned property, offering guidance on the impact and enforceability of Declarations of Trust and supporting those who need to make applications for, or enforce orders related to, the sale of a property.

This breadth of experience gives Zara a well‑rounded, practical understanding of the legal and personal issues that often arise in dispute resolution.

Zara qualified as a Solicitor in 2021, after achieving a first‑class law degree from Nottingham Trent University.
