BHW client, Apption Labs Limited, has triumphed at the inaugural Leicester Mercury Innovation Awards, winning “Digital Innovation of the Year” for its leading-edge Meater product.
Apption Labs is a technology start-up created less than five years ago by co-founders Joseph Cruz, Teemu Nivala and Dauson Chang. It is already a leading name with impressive worldwide sales of its wireless smart meat thermometers.
Their ‘Meater’ products use Bluetooth to communicate with mobile devices to allow the user to measure their food’s internal temperature during cooking.
