Samina Jahangir is a Solicitor in the Commercial Property department, recognised for providing clear and practical advice across a wide range of real estate matters. After completing her LLB Law degree at the University of Warwick, she trained at BHW and qualified as a solicitor.

Samina works on a variety of commercial property transactions, including sales and acquisitions, transfers of property portfolios, landlord and tenant matters, and secured lending.

Samina also plays a key role in the firm’s Renewable Energy team, advising landlords, tenants, and developers on the property aspects of renewable energy projects and helping clients meet their commitments to achieving net zero.

Work highlights include:

  • Acting on the sale of a courtyard of shops, subject to mixed-use tenancies, forming part of a Grade II listed building.
  • Advising on the transfer of a substantial property portfolio comprising 120 properties held by 50 different pension schemes.
  • Assisted a private investor on the purchase of a listed manor house, woodland, several holiday lets, and a significant stretch of shoreline consisting of 320 acres.
  • Regularly advising a developer landlord on lease matters for a high-rise office building, including negotiating high-value leases with commercial tenants.
