Molly McLoughlin is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Commercial Property department. She joined BHW in 2019 and subsequently completed her training contract and qualified with the Firm in 2021.

Molly demonstrates a range of expertise specialising in freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, pension scheme instructions, landlord and tenant work, and secured lending matters. Molly’s clients include owners of children’s nurseries and of supported living homes.

Molly is a key member of the department’s Pension Scheme team and has regular work from professional trustees Boolers, Mattioli Woods and Pension Admin.

Molly also plays a vital role in our Real Estate Finance team, with over 5 years’ experience managing a variety of secured lending and refinance instructions for a number of key lenders. She offers both sole and dual representation (acting for both lender and borrower). Molly oversees BHW’s client relationship and a large volume of instructions from HSBC UK Bank Plc.

Molly is also a key asset in cross-departmental work, and regularly provides Corporate Support Work on business sales, acquisitions and EOTs, where properties are involved.

Molly is a Recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 legal industry guide.

Work highlights include:

  • Acting for a repeat client on a share sale of a property investment company with assets including a number of properties in the Wimbledon area of London, being sold to a large pharmaceutical retailer for £4.25 million, with assistance from our Corporate department.
  • Acting for Nineteen Golf Centre, a local Leicester-based business, on the set up of their new golf sim centre at Stoughton Grange, Gartree Road, Oadby.
  • Acting for HSBC UK Bank Plc on a mortgage and overdraft facility totalling over £2 million, secured by way of legal charge on an industrial warehouse site in Essex with supporting debentures and guarantees.
