The government's Help to Buy scheme has led to more than 73,000 homes being bought across England according to government figures.

In the period up to November 2014, more than 38,000 homebuyers purchased properties under the programme's equity loan scheme, with sales in November itself up 2,099. The majority of the sales (83%) were first time buyers, with 94% of sales outside of London.
