One of BHW Solicitors’ biggest clients, Gardner Aerospace, has achieved an impressively high turnover and pre-tax profit in the year to 31st August 2016.
Gardner, a company that formed in the 1950s, is based in Derby and supplies components for the likes of Rolls-Royce and Airbus with the help of its approximately 1,400 members of staff. This year, the company’s turnover made over £131.8m, a huge leap from the previous year’s still impressive £116.9m. On top of this, Gardner’s reported pre-tax profit has almost doubled from 2015, rising from £7.5m to £14.8m.
Gardner credits continued investment, which ensures the company maintains a high level of operational efficiency, for its impressive year, and believes that a growing demand has helped the company following its expansion of some of its manufacturing facilities. Gardner hopes to continue benefitting from the recent growth in the aerospace sector, building on the company’s success as it moves into the New Year.
