BHW is delighted to have advised on the successful conversion of DZA Technical Limited to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

Based in the town of Worthing, West Sussex, DZA Technical provides bespoke staging and installation solutions to the events and entertainment industry, supporting a wide range of high-profile productions and venues across the UK.

Led by Managing Director, David Green, Technical Director, Trevor Deffee, and Operations Director, Tom Hinkley, the business has built a reputation for technical excellence and creative delivery. The decision to transition to employee ownership reflects their commitment to securing the long-term future of the company and its team.

David commented: “We’ve built DZA over many years with a fantastic team behind us. Moving to employee ownership felt like the natural next step to protect what we’ve created and reward the people who helped us get here.”

Legal advice was provided by Cameron Connolly, Senior Associate in the Corporate team at BHW Solicitors. Tax advice was delivered by Scott Shaw of Cooper Parry.

Cameron said: “It was a privilege to advise on DZA’s transition to employee ownership. The sellers were deeply committed to securing the future of the business for their team, and the process was a testament to their values and vision.”

The company is now poised to continue its growth and innovation under the new ownership structure, with employees empowered to shape its future.
