The Mattioli Woods Rothley 10k is one of the most celebrated charity road running races in Leicestershire. Now in its 28th year, the race hosted by the Rothley and Soar Valley Lions attracts over 600 runners in support of local charitable causes.
On 11th June 2013, BHW Solicitors' Beverley Merrell and Paul Davis participated in the Rothley 10k to show support for Mattioli Woods and the charitable causes supported by the race.
"I have been doing the Rothley 10k for the past 8 years and it doesn’t get any easier", said Beverley Merrell, a Partner in the Commercial Property Department. "I was aiming to complete the course within the hour and I was three seconds over, so I am hoping for a better result next time! The organisation and support at the run was exceptional as always."
Paul Davis, a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department who finished the race in 43 minutes, 35 seconds and in 47th place overall, commented that "this was a tremendous race which was well supported and organised. The undulating course provided an enjoyable challenge and I hope to run faster next year!"
