From 1st April 2019, the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates have increased. As a result, over 2 million UK employees will be entitled to receive a pay rise.

  • 21 to 24-year-olds increased by 4.3% from £7.38 to £7.70 per hour
  • 18 to 20-year-olds increased by 4.2% from £5.90 to £6.15 per hour
  • 16 to 17-year-olds increased by 3.6% from £4.20 to £4.35 per hour
  • apprentices increased by 5.4% from £3.70 to £3.90 per hour
