BHW Solicitors has been promoted to Tier 2 for its Corporate/Commercial and Commercial Property practices in the 2015 edition of the Legal 500, which was published last week. Additionally, the Firm’s IT and Telecoms practice has been recommended for the first time.

BHW’s Corporate and Commercial team is described as “excellent” and commended for “its modern approach and willingness to work with other advisors, which results in excellent service.” Department Head Ed Nurse is singled out for his “valued commercial approach”.

The Commercial Property team was also recognised for its “very good” team and the strength of its offering. Department Head Julie White is “always professional” and Partner Kate Chorley is recommended for “going the extra mile”.

BHW is now one of the very few regional firms to be recommended for its IT and Telecoms practice. Partner Matt Worsnop is recognised in particular for his “excellent understanding of the IT contracting market”.

Nick Bridle, Managing Partner of BHW, commented, “the Firm’s promotion to Tier 2 for both its core practice areas is a remarkable and unique achievement. BHW is only 12 years old, but is already ranked with (and in some cases above) some of the most established and highly recognised commercial Law Firms in the East Midlands. Our Legal 500 rankings are a testament to our single minded pursuit of excellence and dedication to our clients”.

The Legal 500 directory provides rankings and recommendations for Law Firms and Lawyers nationally and internationally and is published annually.
